Nestled in the river basins of the Segura and Mundo, the Calasparra Rice-Growing Estate thrives at an altitude of 341 to 500 meters above sea level. Here, the unique microclimate and water conditions slow the grain’s maturation, intensifying its quality.
This is true mountain rice. Its distinct character comes from crystal-clear waters that flow continuously by gravity through ancient terraces, ensuring natural irrigation without stagnation—a harmony of tradition and terrain.

We proudly present two DO Calasparra varieties:

Bomba (the legendary paella rice)

Balilla × Sollana (a heritage strain)

Both require more broth than conventional rices—we recommend following the package instructions for perfect results.
