FROM CALASPARRA & LAJOYA

The Calasparra Rice Farm is located in the basins of the Segura and Mundo rivers, at an altitude ranging from 341 to 500 metres above sea level. At this altitude, the climatic and water conditions allow for a delay in the ripening of the grain.

This is an authentic mountain rice. This uniqueness combined with the continuous flow of crystal-clear water by gravity through terraces, produces constant irrigation in a natural way, without water stagnation.

We present 2 varieties of rice from our DO Calasparra; BOMBA , well known and BALILLA POR SOLLANA , in both cases they require more broth than usual than in other Denominations, we recommend reading the recommendation for use on the packaging.
